Welcome Wilson League Reuter

Wilson arrived healthy on Monday, August 10 at 8:37am. He is doing great and looks a lot like his big sister! My Mom was here for 2 1/2 weeks- which was amazing and we were thankful to have her here. I am healing well from my c-section except my incision opened up and is now having to be packed twice a day....not so fun!

Ellie is loving being a big sister- she wants to hold him and kiss him all the time. We are trying to encourage the love and let her be as much a part of things as possible. She has tried to pick him up a few times and still has a hard time understanding how fragile he is!! But, I am thankful he loves him- she talks to him all the time and says how cute he is and how much she loves him- very sweet!!!

Here are some pics from the last 2 weeks- I'll try to be a better blogger now that I am not prego anymore!!

Also, if you are curious about the name- Wilson is my maiden name and League was my Grandmother's maiden name, my sister's middle name and my Great Aunt and Uncle's last name.....we had decided on Wilson about 12 years ago and were going between 2 middle names before making our final decision!

Thanks for all the well wishes, etc!

Pregnancy swallowed my Blogging Ability!!

Well, our c-section is scheduled for Monday, August 10 at 8am. So, I will begin by asking for some prayers for us that day! My parents will be here and will bring Miss Ellie to the hospital so she can do her very important job of introducing the little guy and sharing his name for the first time. She is very excited about this special job!

Ellie turns 4 next week- wow! I can't believe our little girl is 4, starting pre-k and growing so fast! We had her 4 year old check up yesterday and she is already 45 inches tall. This was not on the growth chart for 4 year olds- in fact, she was at 50% on the 6 year old chart! This is an even larger gap than last year when she was just off the chart for 3 year olds. Not sure what this means! I just hope the boy gets the same tall gene and isn't the short one of our family!

Pregnancy has been great though I must admit that this time around I am really looking forward to delivery day as I am over the uncomfortable, hot, all the other things that come along with pregnancy issues!

I promise to post some pictures from our last few months- including some from her luau birthday party! She got a new bike and has enjoyed a bike ride around the park and some other fun summer events!

I also promise to be better about blogging after Baby arrives! :)

Maybe I should change my background to Blue.....

Well, once again, I'm sorry! I promise to get back to the blogging world soon! Here are some Reuter updates!

1- It's a boy! I can't believe it, we are having the first boy on both sides of the family! We are excited and Ellie has adjusted to the idea of a brother instead of a sister! I'm warming up to the boy clothes and getting excited about a new advetnure!

2- I got a new job! I am still at WGU but now working as an Academic Mentor. Basically, I am now faculty and assist students through the Language and Communication domains in Liberal Arts. It's been a fun but challenging adventure as we are undergoing lots of change!

3- I had a great birthday! Wonderful friends and family! We had Maggie and Riley here for the week because my sister was on a cruise (lucky)! The girls were wonderful helpers and Ellie had a great time with them! Mason took all the girls out on Friday night and sent me out with a girlfriend of mine for the night. She and I went to dinner and shopped and enjoyed being out of the house and kid free for a while!

4- Finally, we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Mark and Kristin's baby girl! She is due on the 15th of April- so, tomorrow! Yay! I am very excited to see my brother as a father- I know he is going to be amazing! Kristin is so cute pregnant but really ready to have the baby! So, send some love and prayers their way! Their life is getting ready to change!

I think that is it for now! Again, sorry for the lack of pictures and everything else. I'll probably just do a post soon of a million pictures!

Can I blame it on the Pregnancy???

So, I have been totally slack! I can't believe it has been almost 2 months since I blogged last! I'm sorry! I have been so tired, tired, tired and unmotivated. So, updates on the Reuter family-

1- Christmas was wonderful. I will have pictures once we start putting pictures from our NEW camera up on our computer! Ellie had a great time Christmas morning and it was fun to see the magic of Christmas! My parents were here and we enjoyed that!

2- New Years Eve- we spent with our friends- Meggen, John, Alex, Addison and Chloe- started at 4pm, had appetizers, etc. We let the girls do "Poppers" at 7pm and we were home by 9pm. It was a lot of fun!

3- I traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah for work and enjoyed seeing friends and co-workers but missed my family!

4- While I was in Salt Lake, Mason earned Daddy of the year award. Ellie started throwing up in the middle of the night on Friday night....when he couldn't get it to stop, and many calls to me, the dr's office, etc- he ended up in the Emergency Room. Luckily, it wasn't crowded and when a man walks in with a sick kid the nurses go crazy and really help them out- so, they were wonderful to them. I was so thankful. They ended up giving Ellie the medicine they give cancer patients and were able to make it stop. They got home at 5:30am....slept most of the day on Saturday. I arrived home on Sunday! Thanks Sweetie for handling this!

5- We did have an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago- Baby Reuter measured big- go figure! But, the official due date is August 16. I will likely have a c-section around 39 weeks. Yay! We find out if its a boy or a girl at the end of March. Ellie says it is a girl! We'll see!

Okay, I promise to try to come back!
