Romantic Getaway.....at Disney World!

Well, Mason and I just celebrated our 6 year anniversary. I can't believe it has been 6 years- we sure are getting old! We decided to take a family trip to Disney World for the weekend. We arrived on Friday night in time to enjoy Epcot for a little while before our dinner reservations in Norway for a meal with the Princesses! Ellie thoroughly enjoyed meeting Belle (who left the kiss mark on her cheek),
Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine and Alice! She loved getting their autograph, a photo and hugging each one. She was a little disappointed that Cinderella wasn't there! But, it was raining and she seemed okay with the idea that Cinderella needed to be in her Castle during the storm!

Saturday morning we arrived early at the Magic Kingdom and quickly got in line at the Harmony Barber Shop off of Main Street. Michael was our barber and he did a great job trimming and shaping our little Princesses hair. He encouraged her curls and sprinkled fairy dust in it- all for an amazing low price of $14....best deal around! We spent the day riding rides, seeing some Princesses, and enjoying our family time. We even had buttons that said- Happy Anniversary- so, all the Disney members wished us a Happy Anniversary everywhere we went. It was a lot of fun! Unfortunately, the weather was not as fun as we experienced quite a few Florida showers that included some amazing lightning and thunder shows! So, Ellie didn't get to see Tinkerbell fly- maybe next time!

Sunday, we again arrived at Disney early and it must have been our lucky day. Ellie got to be the co-pilot for the monorail and get her Co-pilot license and then later we were asked if we wanted to celebrate our UnBirthday. This meant that everyone in line sang to us, we got first pick of our teacup and one complimentary move to the front of the line pass- this is part of the making a Million Dreams come true!

We had a great time and loved celebrating our anniversary at the Happiest place on Earth! We do plan to have a romantic night out sometime soon!

If you think 6 years makes you old, try 10! We are counting down to our anniversary next Friday ;)
Looks like you had a lot of fun! It must be awesome to have the passes and not worry about rushing through the parks. Awesome!
And by the way - Happy Anniversary Georgia and Mason!
